Slept in. Medium bowl of oatmeal with milk, cinnamon, sliced banana; water. Ran in place to The Year Earth Changed on Apple TV+. Midmorning small meal: one almond flour pancake, previously frozen, with butter and maple syrup; water. Cleaned the bathroom, cut my hair, showered. Mid-afternoon snack: one carrot with hummus, water. Unloaded photos from my iPhone 12 mini, uploaded some of them to Flickr. Phil and Drew picked me up, and we drove to Chris and Nate's new place in San Jose. This is my first gathering with friends indoors since before March 2020. In attendance: Chris, Nate, Jen, Wayne, Peter, Quyen, Dave, Jonathan, and my first time meeting Heron. We ate snacks over the course of the gathering and drank Costco sangria (surprisingly good) and various wines and liquors. I brought a bottle of sparkling wine and a bottle of dessert wine in a Mister S Leather paper bag. Patrick remained at home to finish a new short story called "Small Spaces."
