Work holiday. Ran in place to PBS's Between the Folds on Kanopy. Edited content for Patrick's forthcoming website. Lunch: large salad with chicken and ranch dressing, water. Nap. More website work the rest of today. Dinner at home with Patrick: hot dog with fixins, sweet potato fries, white wine, water. I washed dishes. Dessert: chocolate tart. We finished watching La La Land on Cinemax via Apple TV then finished watching Sam Jay: 3 in the Morning on Netflix then continued watching Seth Meyers: Lobby Baby on Netflix. Patrick went to bed. We cuddled for a while. I arose. Troubleshot problems with CCC backup failing due to network filesharing problems. Installed the Mac Catalina 10.15.7 Supplemental update on Patrick's computer. It turned the computer off during the update. I had trouble restarting it, but eventually it restarted—I don't know what I did to make it work. Upon restart, the update process continued and completed. It took a long time and several restarts occurred. For the entire time I was fearful that the update process had broken and bricked it. Eventually it started working again. I applied the same update to the entertainment server, and the process went faster and smoother there.
