Ran in place to Containment s1:e8 on Netflix instant watch. Breakfast at home: oatmeal with milk, pumpkin pie spice, blueberries, diced white nectarine; water. Worked from home. Sprint standup. Siteimprove linkchecking and policy work. Recently I have been using my iPad Pro as a second display with my MacBook Pro using macOS Catalina's Sidecar feature. For the most part it works very well. The only problems I have found so far are that I cannot two-finger scroll on the iPad and if the connection remains for a very long time it will eventually get stuck meaning the iPad will fail to show the cursor as I move it onto the iPad. It's particularly odd when an iOS notification appears and I attempt to dismiss it using the MacBook Pro's trackpad—it doesn't work because the notification is coming in on top of the secondary screen layer and so it is separate. D8 theme work all day. Some PC intranet followup and build work. Lunch at home: I prepared for myself a tuna salad wrap including diced tomato, diced avocado, canned tuna, diced romaine lettuce, diced celery, mayo, ranch dressing; water. Switched from ActiveSync with Apple Mail app to Outlook on my iPhone X and iPad Pro. Completed the Household Pulse Survey from census.gov after confirming via the web that it was legit. Dinner at home: delivery from Old Mandarin via Uber Eats: flour ball with shrimp, snow pea chicken, beef stir fry with green onion, egg fried rice, pot stickers. When the order arrived, we found three small egg rolls included for free. Dessert: Patrick made a German chocolate cake today so that he could mix bits of it in a German chocolate cake no-churn ice cream. Half of the two-layer cake was left over, so we ate slices of it. Cocktail for me only: Kahlua with milk on the rocks. Showed Patrick the fun end credits for Donut County. Patrick washed some dishes while I played Shadowmatic on my iPad Pro. I washed some dishes. Patrick went to bed. Today we turned our Blue Pure 411 air purifiers (aka air filters) on the high setting due to falling ash and the smell of heavy smoke caused by area wildfires. Normally we use the medium setting. (We probably should have done this a day or two ago.)
