Finished running Grand Canyon National Park Virtual Rim to River Run Down South Kaibab Trail 4k via Treadmill TV on YouTube. The last 10 minutes were just wonderful. Next I began running Walking from Venice Beach to Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles, California [4K] by Wind Walk Travel Videos on YouTube. Breakfast at home: various leftovers, water. Walked and rode Muni to UCSF Laurel Heights. Heavy rain this morning, and one 28R bus went missing. My commute riding the 28 followed by the 1 took one hour instead of the normal 50ish minutes. Upon arrival I discovered that my socks had gotten wet I think when I had stepped in a puddle. Sprint standup. Switched from Box Sync to Box Drive. It was very simple, took only a few minutes, and worked fine. The main benefit is better integration with your computer (aka macOS Finder), and a lot of tasks like sharing are faster and easier than before. Near the end BigFix incorrectly reports that the install status is failed. Met with Eric and Susie to discuss styling changes to the microsites home pages. Met with Eric and James to discuss the QBC and grad programs news syndication. Prep for QBC news syndication. Siteimprove policy work. The heavy rain had stopped in the afternoon. I walked to dinner at Mamahuhu with Patrick: sweet and sour chicken, beef with broccoli, jade fried rice. Patrick had a pu ehr tea soda, I had a jasmine tea soda. We did not order dessert. Counter service. About $60. Food and drink were both delicious, all employees were friendly and helpful. The heavy rain began again as we ate, then stopped when I donned my rain pants to leave. We browsed in Schubert's and Kamei before riding UberX home. We spent about 20 minutes reentering credentials on the Roku remote and trying to figure out how to watch Star Trek: Nemesis without paying more than we already were. It wasn't available on our CBS All Access subscription. It wasn't available on Hulu Basic Plan (despite what Just Watch told us). It wasn't available on Netflix instant watch. It wasn't available on Amazon Prime Video. It wasn't available on Hoopla via SFPL. We gave up and queued it in Netflix DVD. Watched Ronny Chieng in Asian Comedian Destroys America! on Netflix instant watch with Patrick and butter microwave popcorn. Washed dishes. Air freshener refill maintenance.
