Walked all day in the Presidio. Patrick remained at home working on edits to his first book. I walked and rode Muni to Presidio Avenue and Jackson Street, then walked into the Presidio. It took me only a few minutes to find one end of Andy Goldsworthy's Wood Line. I walked the entire length, taking a few photos along the way. Afterwards I walked to Presidio Officers' Club for a light lunch at Arguello: chicken taquitos (guajillo sofrito, tomatillo-avocado salsa, cotija cheese), Mayan toddy (anejo tequila, lemon, honey, xtabentun, served hot with a lemon skin pierced with three cloves). $26.05 before a $5 tip. Spent some time visiting Earth Wall and then visited the adjacent public living room called Moraga Hall before seeing the exhibits in the Presidio Officers' Club. With the help of a guide at the front I discovered that I had failed to find Tree Fall earlier because it didn't open until noon (and there is nothing indicating that you are at the correct location at other times of the day). Visited Tree Fall then the Presidio Bowling Center, which I learned is the least expensive place to eat in the area. Walked Ecology Trail (Upper) to Inspiration Point Overlook and encountered a woman wearing black leggings with wide, sheer strips from her ankle to her hip. Visited Spire, then the Presidio Golf Course Clubhouse. Walked out of the Presidio via a small footpath in the clubhouse parking lot to Arguello Boulevard, then rode UberX home. Dinner at home with Patrick: leftovers. Began watching The Red Turtle (2017) on Netflix DVD with Patrick.
