Breakfast at home with Patrick: I prepared for each of us one and a half eggs with diced sausage, mixed cheeses, Spice Ace herbes de provence, salt, freshly ground black pepper; hash brown with ketchup; toast with butter; hot earl gray tea. Washed dishes. Shower. Nap. Rode a car rented via Turo to Redwood City. Dinner and hot tub with Chris and Andy. We met Paul and Bruce for the first time. Appetizers: various cheeses and crackers and candied almonds, veggies with dill dip. Scallops with maque choux, chicken and andouille gumbo, butter leaf lettuce salad. For dessert, Patrick made a bananas foster bread pudding with rum hard sauce. We had a fun evening and enjoyed meeting and talking with everyone. Patrick drove us home shortly after midnight.
