Walked and rode Muni to Starbucks Laurel Village. Breakfast to go: turkey bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich; cup of water no ice. No standup. Ate at my desk. Forwarded a request to the Kidney Project team. Siteimprove task followup. CSS methodologies research. Snacked on crunchy rice roll and no-salt pistachios. Rode Uber Pool to the Mission. Met Patrick for dinner at Tartine Manufactory (415-757-0007, 595 Alabama Street): drinks: for Patrick: stoney maloney (single-barrel bourbon, stonefruit tea, amaro sibona, ron del barrilito 3-star, $15); for me: manufactory "pina colada" (tartine rum blend, coconut cream, pineapple, tonka bean, sparkling wine, $17). We shared: california king salmon crudo (with cherry tomato, kelp, shiso, $19), gazpacho (sungold tomato soup with pistou, $12), wood-fired grilled chicken (with warm potato salad, haricots verts, onion, $36). Dessert: we shared a slice of chocolate souffle ($8.50) and a slice of tres leches ($8.50). Patrick also had a cassis kefir ($8) and an espresso ($3.50). $156.08 before a $30 tip. Service by Nicolette S was very good.
