Breakfast at home with Patrick: cucumber and labneh toast with za'atar, 8 ounces of orange juice for Patrick, 8 ounces of mango smoothie for me. Home maintenance: sanded our primary wooden cutting board, used Block Bros. block oil to condition the cutting board and nearly all our wooden kitchen utensils. Lunch at home with Patrick: leftovers from dinner. Rode UberX with Patrick to Japantown. Massages and communal bath time at Kabuki Springs & Spa: $353.50 after a $40 tip. Afterwards we walked in the Fillmore shopping district, stopping at the new-to-us Philmore Creamery to share a delicious pistachio marzipan affogato, an incredible $3 at happy hour pricing. Dinner at OTD: Einstok Icelandic white ale for Patrick, Dupont Saison Foret for me. We shared: gau choy gau dumplings (shrimp, green garlic, water chestnuts), shaking beef (grass-fed estancia ranch cubed filet mignon, watercress, red onions, lime sauce), dungeness crab cellophane noodles (with garlic, green onion, sesame oil), small white rice for Patrick, small brown rice for me. Dessert: chocolate-peanut-butter cream pie, peanut crumble. $127.51 before a $24 tip. Rode UberX home.
