Breakfast at home with Patrick: oatmeal with milk, blueberries, diced apple, and other fixins; chai. Walked and rode Muni to UCSF Laurel Heights. Spent the whole day updating the slideshow on all QBC and grad programs websites for Julia M and helping Grant launch news. Lunch at Artesano: vegetable stew with rice and beans, water: about $15. Rode Uber Pool to meet Patrick for dinner at A Desi Cafe: beer for Patrick, chenin blanc for me, complimentary papadum with dipping sauces, veggie pakora ($4), prawn biryani ($14), half tandoori chicken ($10), water. $52.94 after a $9 tip. Walked home. Patrick had been having a problem launching MixMeister Studio 7.3.1 in OS 10.13.5 High Sierra after not having used it for a long time. He doesn't have a copy of his receipt, and he doesn't have the same email account he used when he bought it, so it's unlikely we'll get any help from the vendor. I first tried a clean reinstall but that didn't fix it. I eventually repaired it by getting info on the application and selecting the checkbox for "open in low resolution." Watched Ali Wong: Hard Luck Wife on Netflix instant watch by myself with popcorn—hilarious and recommended.
