Resolved network connection problems for Patrick's computer. He encountered "share does not exist". Restarting the computer did not help. Restarting the server did not help. I eventually resolved this with lots of futzing involving turning wifi off and then on and then reopening the volume from Finder and reentering correct credentials. Breakfast at home with Patrick: oatmeal with fixins, 8 ounces of orange juice. Cut my hair, showered. Rode Muni to the Castro. Met Stephen at Philz for coffee. We walked in the Castro to see the various Harvey Milk art exhibits in the shop windows. We chatted about Gay Days at Disneyland and Disneyworld, silent auctions and silent auction strategy, dogs, Segways and new Corvettes, theatre and musicals, sports, and more. Patrick joined us after some time and he wanted coffee so we returned to Philz and walked more. Stephen left us at Market and Castro. Patrick and I stayed to watch a free concert by the Alpha Rhythm Kings. Afterwards Patrick and I brunched at Botellón: Harvey's Punch for me, Smokey Pimms for Patrick. Garlic fries, burger, ribs, spring bake. The modern decor is rather exquisite compared to other restaurants nearby. The drinks had way too much ice and didn't pack a punch. The ribs were tougher than we had expected and did not fall off the bone. The rest of the dishes were sufficient, but there are similar ones elsewhere in the Castro that are prepared better. I was fine with the service; Patrick thought our server seemed inexperienced. $71.44 before a $15 tip. A stop at Cliff's Variety for some hardware supplies before riding Muni home. I repaired a brown long-sleeve waffle-knit shirt with my sewing machine. I resolved a noisy kitchen sink drip by taking a 26.5-inch length of copper wire and bending it into a tight U shape and inserting it into the drain to be held up by the (grate?) near the top. I tightened a limiting wire on our swing-out bathroom mirror. Nap. Dinner at home with Patrick: leftover mac and cheese and recooked ribs. We finished watching I, Tonya. Nap. Rode UberX to the End Up for Heroes & Villians—optionally come dressed as your favorite hero or villain. I hadn't been to Shangri La in a really long time and enjoyed catching up with many and meeting new men, including Adolfo. I thought that the best costume of the night was Hella from Thor: Ragnarok. Rode UberX home.
