Woke around 5:20 am. Breakfast at Mahina and Sun's with Patrick: avocado toast, eggs with rice and portuguese sausage. Jerome picked me up; Patrick spent the morning shopping in Waikiki. Jerome and I drove to the USS Arizona where we met the rest of our group. Jerome drove us in two trips to Ford Island where we had a guided tour of the USS Missouri with guide Michael followed by the self-guided audio tour. Afterwards we visited the Pacific Aviation Museum at Pearl Harbor. The rest of the day we had planned to meet other family members further west near Aulani, but I was not aware until now how late it was going to be before we returned, and this conflicted with other plans I had made for the evening. We did some troublesome shuffling of passengers, and Jerome ended up driving me back to Waikiki. Shower, rest. Patrick and I rode UberX to dinner at The Nook with Chris, Nate, and Patrick. Drinks: mai tais and a chai hard fashion. Complimentary amuse bouche, kimchi with polenta fries, tempura frites (fennel and okra). Patrick had gumbo risotto. Chris had an asian pear salad and mascarpone risotto. Nate had a swordfish fish special. I had crab linguine with tomato cream sauce. We also had two glasses of wine with the meal, but I don't recall who had them. One was a Calista pinot noir. The other was a Glen Carlou chardonnay. Desserts: condensed milk gelato affogato, mochi churro with chocolate dipping sauce. Surprise! One of the owners working at the restaurant turned out to be the passenger who had sat next to me on Thursday's flight, and we remarked at that odd coincidence. Chris and Nate gave us a ride home. Patrick and I enjoyed some live music by the pool before turning in.
