Breakfast: egg and provolone on english muffin, 8 ounces of orange juice. Rode Muni to UCSF Parnassus. UCSF shuttle from Parnassus to Laurel Heights. Along the way I continued studying Spanish on Duolingo. Caught up on email after one day of vacation. Listserv management: removed Jennifer P from OEIS. Minor web update for Cindy on the Policies page for PharmD. Followup with a legal name change request by calling IT and asking them to complete the task that Jina originally requested. Followup with my encrypted usb drive order. Lunch: leftovers from last night. Microsites work: Chen Lab, Giacomini Lab. Followup with Angie D about the alumni email offering. Worked with Eric to create a remote branch of my identity retheme work. Selected my 15-year service award—a Mikasa glass bowl worth about $80 on Amazon. UCSF shuttle from Laurel Heights to Parnassus, chatting with James J about mobile, on-demand storage and mobile, on-demand espresso and other crazy ideas. Rode Muni home. Dinner at home with Patrick: Blue Apron summer vegetable and queso tostadas with fairy tale eggplants and spicy crema, white wine for me, red wine for Patrick. Set up a private share for Southern Decadence photos for the group. Completed journal construction for the past weekend.
