Followup with a student who reported a problem with TEM. Handed off credentials to a reviewer. Followup with Edel A about admin rights on OSACA computers. Reported a Jazzee problem to Lisa: unable to set time zone. Jazzee setup for residencies and followup with Cathi. One of the problems I encountered at work today was the error "The application 'Safari.app' is not open anymore." At first I was unable to resolve it. A web page said that if you can launch it do so then change your default home page. This solution didn't work for me because I couldn't launch it. After some time I noticed that Safari was listed twice in Force Quit Applications (Cmd+Option+Esc). I force quit both instances, and that resolved it. Safari launched normally again. No lunch. UCSF shuttle from Laurel Heights to Parnassus. Rode Muni home. Dropped things off at home. Dinner at Grubbin: Juicin' (turkey, bacon, avacado, sprouts, provolone cheese, pesto aioli, and grub sauce) on French roll, small order of fries. Couldn't finish both halves of the sandwich, took one home. Watered the garden. Laundry. Encountered the error "The application 'Safari.app' is not open anymore." at home as well. Same solution: force quit two instances of Safari. Installed various software updates for Patrick's computer. Late dessert: a few tablespoonfuls of Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia Fro Yo.
