Woke around 3 AM, couldn't sleep. Around 4:30 AM the upstairs neighbor in the room above my bedroom began playing music at a normal (midday) volume. I texted the master tenant knowing that she might be sleeping or not home. Resolved the problem by ringing the doorbell; the person in that room had fallen asleep with the music on. Couldn't sleep, so I did Recharge Spa work. Back to bed. Woke around noon. More Recharge Spa work. More archiving documents and house chores. Made live some changes to the Recharge Spa website. Dinner at home with Patrick: I made Russ Parsons' shrimp and asparagus risotto. Completed a survey for Coconut Waikiki which ended with: "3 odd things about my room (705). 1: the antique room safe was really laughably odd, but it worked. a bit inconvenient to have to carry the key around. i am guessing they are hard to remove, so it's not a big problem. 2: the lamp and nightstand shoved into the curtain. no one would ever do this at home, but i understand you did it to make more space. odd, but not a problem. 3: the fixture where the toilet plumbing enters the wall was rusty. visually unpleasant, but not a problem. i encountered no problems at all during my stay, and the staff was friendly to exceptional. the chocomacs and lobby apples were a pleasant surprise. the view from 705 is really amazing, better than my friends' room at royal hawaiian. thank you again, and i hope to return soon! :-)" Tip: rooms ending in 4, 5, 6, and 7 have views facing Ala Wai Boulevard, which I prefer. Rooms ending in 8 seem to be largest (from the emergency evacuation floor plan). Watched a few episodes of Archer season 2.
