Lounged, and spent time in the pool and the sun. Anh and Greta arrived to spend just the day. Dave took a bunch of us to Larkmead Vineyards for a tasting; a very nice time. Back to the house. Drinks and appetizers with PDDR's friends Carlo and Tony at Ca' Toga, and we received a tour of the grounds and house. I was impressed with the artistry evident everywhere you looked. Dinner poolside at Villa Palma with Carlo, Tony, Danny, Anh, Greta, Drew, Romy, Phil, Quyen, Dave, Richard, Richard. We ate various grilled meats, salad, brussels sprouts with bacon, bread, pumpkin tortilla chips, and more that I cannot remember. For dessert we had a very large, long, two-layer yellow cake with white frosting and strawberries. We also had three kinds of Fiorello's gelato: Old Kentucky Bourbon Butter Pecan, Espresso, and Caramel Balsamic. I did not like the caramel balsamic very much. The butter pecan was fantastic. The espresso was very good.
