Stopped at Starbucks for a granola-and-yogurt cup. Followup with student NN about an unresolved account problem reported last week. Dinner at home with Patrick: veggie burgers with grilled onions, sliced avocado, and mixed greens; tater tots; and steamed coriander-infused carrots. Bought gifts. Brief Facetime chat with Tina. Today we had a problem with some cheese. Turns out that the previous advice I had was not correct for sliced cheese. I had stored some smoky sharp cheddar slices loosely in waxed paper. After about a week, the edges had dried out. Most of this cheese is a loss, and I'm at a loss as to finding a complete and scientifically accurate reference for cheese storage. Very frustrating. Donated $30 to Wikimedia Foundation, Inc. Installed HandyPrint (aka AirPrint Activator) so that I could print from my iPad to my AirPrint-disabled printers. It works! Amazing!
