Weight training: wide-grip door pull-ups. Breakfast: half of a chocolate croissant from Mara's Italian Pastry. Rode my bike to work. SCWG meeting. Began encrypting another external hard drive. Webpublished the commencement speech from graduation for Cindy. Found and secure-erased the old Mac Mini and prepared it for surplus. Created and set new wallpapers in Photoshop for the shared office iPad so that the office phone number is prominent on the lock screen in case it is lost or stolen. Examined with Tran his completion of the Win 7 setup I asked him to perform. Submitted to DLS a change request for James F. Updated the people content type spec with data from Susie on BTS research interests and keywords. Submitted a new surplus pickup request to get rid of a 2005 Mac Mini and a Panasonic LC50 15-inch, 1024x768 monitor that was manufactured in 1999. Rode my bike home. Made brake pad and other adjustments to my bike. 6-minute nap. Met Will in the Castro. Dinner with Will at Jake's on Market: pomegranate punches ($12 each), cobb salad for Will ($12.25), beet salad for me ($8.75), side of garlicky spinach ($4), german chocolate cake ($9). $65 before a cash tip of $11. Our table was a 2-top adjacent to the bar. Our server was a woman who also tended the bar. (My receipt said Sabrina.) Service was very good. Dancing with Will at 80's night at The Cafe. I met Chad, an acquaintance of Will's. Chad was gogodancing for one of The Cafe's bartenders who was celebrating his birthday (and not working). DJ Mark Andrus spun the videos. It's a fun night but there's not enough people. Day 3 of 5 checking for jury duty: I don't have to go in.
