Breakfast: banana bread, water. Rode Muni to work. Linkchecking, Flickr work, kiosk work. Research for scanner purchases. Management activities. Edited an orientation document for Shirin. 10-years-at-UCSF celebration lunch at Spruce (3640 Sacramento Street, 415-931-5100) with Cindy and Susie: french fries with remoulade, olives with citrus and fennel, bread and butter, heirloom tomatos and burrata (with focaccia, basil, aged balsamic) for all. We talked mostly about New York City and iPhones. Cindy and I rode the shuttle back to Parnassus. Along the way back to the office we played with a brand new touchscreen map in the hospital. It didn't work correctly. I hope they work the bugs out of it. Adjusted autodeletion of website backup archives so that I can archive them after my NYC trip. Supp app project work in Drupal. Research for scanner purchases. Management activities. Snack from Panda Express: two veggie spring rolls, no sauce, fortune cookie. My fortune: Chances of glamour and excitement are coming to you. Rode Muni home. House chores. Dinner at home with Patrick: veggie quesadilla, savory baked sweet potato with pumpkin seeds, boiled corn on the cob. Laundry. Cut my hair. Dessert: leftover "beignets" from Spruce, Tina's cinnamon-chocolate ganache, mayan cocoa spice tea.
