Breakfast at home: yogurt with toffee nut granola, cinnamon; 8 ounces of orange juice from frozen. Rode the bus to work. Management activities. Followup with student AK about 4-MB attachment filesize limits with our listserv system. Calendar management. IRC project followup with Michael and Rodney: monitor selection. Troubleshot a problem that Robin C reported regarding the use of gradient backgrounds on our website. Turns out she is the 2nd person to report this problem. The first was when our site first launched last year. At that time I was unable to reproduce the problem, and the person who reported it was not part of UCSF, so I did not feel comfortable asking her to help me test solutions. After trading several messages with Robin and trying out a few solutions, I think we might have a solution. It is partially in place and we'll sit with this until next week. Notified students that the student organization websites that were down since the February 3 launch of the new www.ucsf.edu are now back up. Installed InDesign CS5 for Lisa. Could not do the same for Lucia or Cindy because we didn't yet set me up to get past PGP. Dinner at home with Will: tortilla chips with hummus; leftover rainbow orzo salad; butter leaf lettuce salad with sliced grape tomatoes, grated parmesan cheese, homemade sour cream dressing. Watched The Fountain on Netflix instant watch with Will.
