Breakfast at home with Patrick: scrambled eggs with sliced mushroom and red bell pepper and green onions. Tagged and organized photos in Flickr. Time Machine backup failed with error 29. I restarted the Airport Express and that fixed it. Nap. Safeway: picked up some food and drink. Drove to Thong's, then to Alameda Beach where Thomas met us. It was warm for a very short while after we arrived and then grew colder and breezier. Back to Thong's place, showered. Dinner at Lotus Thai Cuisine (510-658-8491, 4133 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, California, 94611 USA)—delicious food, excellent service.
