Coffee cake and hot mayan cocoa spice tea. Patrick is organizing the music collection, so I helped him with some file conversion activities using CDex, and we also tested MacMP3Gain on 2 files using radio gain mode. It seems to work as expected. Errands with Patrick: Walgreens, Ranch 99 Market. Today I again found a case in which Spotlight did not find a folder when I searched on a substring of its name. I confirmed that Spotlight was not excluding the folder (or any parent of it), but yet I was able to find the folder by manually digging. Spotlight usually seems to work, but after enough of these kinds of examples I know it doesn't always work properly, and that's somewhat more frustrating than not having Spotlight at all. Fantasticsmag has a new, improved layout, but why do they need the interface-explanation hover text ("click to view next page") which appears when you hover over the text GO NEXT? Their old RSS feeds are broken, but if you add the new one from their home page it works. Edited and uploaded photos to Flickr. Nap. Dinner at home with Patrick: pig stir fry with noodles. Watched Mamma Mia on DVD at psychobauble and Nate's with psychobauble, Nate, Patrick. The film was rather disappointing, but the movie environment they created with a new, large plasma TV is very nice. Put old computer equipment for sale online.
