Rode Uber Pool Express to UCSF Parnassus. Breakfast from The View Cafe: bacon and egg on croissant, Cafe Verona with half and half. Sprint standup. Delivered list of accomplishments to Eric for forthcoming annual performance review. Resolved for Paula and Eric a display problem with code that Lemonly provided to us: a hidden character was embedded in the source and revealed itself only in certain browser-platform combinations. Walked to lunch at Sqwers Izakaya and Sushi Bar: two-item bento with chicken teriyaki and gyoza, water. The gyoza was lukewarm and seemed like it had been prepared about an hour or more beforehand, but I did not complain about it. $13. Walked back to work. Lots of task followup. Encountered a disastrous problem with Box Sync and had to log in to the website and dig files out of the trash. Met with Eric: mailing list updates. Rode Uber Pool Express home while continuing to watch My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman: Barack Obama which I started a week or two ago and neglected to mention then. Dinner at home with Patrick: roasted chicken breast with farro and golden beets, white wine, san pell. Finished watching Christopher and His Kind on Netflix DVD with Patrick. Organized Box files and strategized synced folders.
