Woke at 4:00 am and didn't bother trying to return to sleep. Early breakfast at The Lanai at Hyatt Central. Walked the Ala Wai, saw the result of the Marco Polo fire. Back to Surfjack. Rested. Rode UberX to visit the Honolulu Museum of Art. Rode UberX to visit Iolani Palace and the self-guided audio tour. Rode UberX to Surfjack. Rested briefly in the room. Explored the hula party with Patrick joining late: one beer each: pineapple beer for patrick, bikini blond for me. Chatted briefly with halau pal Daniel. Walked in Waikiki looking for a snack or casual and light meal. Snack at Spitfire Rotisserie and Flatbread inside Duke's Lane: Mama Tina's mac salad and toga fries with garlic and togarashi, water. Return to Surfjack. Room still not serviced by housekeeping so we called the front desk to request it while we waited in the living room behind reception, me continuing Monument Valley 2 on my iPad Pro. Return to room, which has been cleaned. Nap. Rode UberX to The Willows for dinner with the Tomiyasus, Tairas, Plunketts, and more family.
