Rode Uber Pool to Paul and Irene's for Pride Sunday brunch: Paul, Irene, Wayne, Jon, Phil, Drew, Danny, Romy, Quyen. Paul prepared brunch with a little help from Irene: fresh blueberries, mango, and watermelon; poached eggs, bacon, toast, osso, salad with grilled tuna and egg and olives, coffee and other beverages. I brought Skittles from China and a bottle of voignier. Afterwards all of us except Irene walked a little past Van Ness and encountered the end of the parade. Paul and Danny left us to walk further down Market Street and meet and march with Gilead. The rest of us visited the festival, some of us consuming drinks (Bud Light?) and all of us consuming snacks (funnel cakes, caramel popcorn) and wandering from stage to stage to see what fun could be had. We danced some and watched several performances and wandered and repeated. Later the others took off and I stayed a while by myself then got hungry and had a bbq chicken kebob with steamed white rice before riding Muni home. The only person I encountered that I recognized was a worker at an eatery near my work. Showered and rested. Chatted with Patrick. Recharge Medical work: tote bag live tracing and new comp, sent for review. Finally got around to reading "Torching the Modern-Day Library of Alexandria" by James Somers. What a terrific article! Highly recommended.
