Dean's Office New Year's Celebration and Staff Luncheon. Rode Biff with David, Paula, and Nancy from UCSF Parnassus to UCSF Laurel Heights. Email signature work. Rode Uber Pool home. Dinner at home with Patrick: delivery from India Clay Oven West Portal. Finished watching The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 on Netflix DVD with Patrick. Filevault is still decrypting. Today Apple Mail on my home iMac crashed repeatedly upon launch with EXC_CRASH ... MFEWSStore ... MFEWSAccount ... [domain]\[username] [servername] ... doesn't have a folder ID ... Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: 'EWS store doesn't have a folder ID' abort() called terminating with uncaught exception of type NSException. I removed my UCSF Exchange email account from Internet Accounts in System Preferences, waited a few minutes, then launched Apple Mail again—success: no crash. In Apple Mail, I organized and weeded mail folders and set up smart mail folders for quickly deleting sent, archived, and trashed messages older than one month.
