Breakfast: egg and provolone on english muffin, 8 ounces of orange juice. Today was freakishly warm; I felt it the moment I stepped outside, stuffing my skull cap and scarf into my bag. Rode Muni to UCSF Parnassus. UCSF shuttle from Parnassus to Laurel Heights. Along the way I continued studying Spanish on Duolingo. Sprint standup. Continued laptop setup. Resolved a problem for Megan with the welcome packet in which the Box preview of all the pages except for the two maps appeared too small. The solution is to create new lettersized InDesign documents, place the larger PDF maps sized to the lettersized page, then export as PDF before joining with the other lettersized pages. Forwarded people page change requests to Lisa C. Microsites work and followup: Chen, Savic, Giacomini. Tim from IT picked up my iMac to upgrade it to El Capitan with a clean install. Lunch at A.G. Ferrari: grilled chicken and pancetta sandwich, meyer lemon Gus soda: about $13. Followup with a legal name and email address change request. Added a job posting link to BTS for Peter. Dinner at home with Patrick: Blue Apron late-summer fregola sarda pasta with romano beans, ricotta and crispy capers; red wine; san pell. I made a mushroom, kale, blue cheese frittata because we needed to use the blue cheese I bought for the same dish a month ago.
