Breakfast with Rob T at Cafe Fleur de Lis: Rob had an eggs Benedict dish which he liked except the biscuit was too dry. I had shrimp and grits, which was delicious. To drink: water. Service by Kerry M from New Zealand was excellent. Walked to the convention center. Drupalcon: Keynote: Michael Schmid, coffee, sessions, lunch (mini sandwiches, salad, water), sessions. Walked to the Marriott. Rested, freshened. Met with John W. Walked to Killer Po-Boys at 219 Dauphine but they were closed. Walked to Erin Rose at 811 Conti. Dinner at Killer Po-Boys: pork belly po-boy and vodka soda for John, bbq beef meatloaf and Biere pale ale for me. Bourbon Pub and Parade: met Chandler and Joseph who were from Dallas and on their way to Florida as well as Joseph's friend Eric. We talked for some time and I returned to the Marriott due to a slightly ill stomach.
