Vacation day. Slept in. Brunch with Patrick at Kingdom of Dumpling: shrimp and chive dumplings, green chive pancake, pork and string bean dumplings, shanghai soup dumplings, hot tea: $36.20 after a $7 tip. Service seemed to be noticeably better than upon previous visits. Food was terrific—no burnt items. I went alone to Walgreens for some items. Home. Worked on the baskets project, completing one basket. I thought for a few minutes I might need to buy a threader, but instead I wrapped the cord end with painter's tape and that worked perfectly. Recharge Spa work: feedback on naming. Late dinner: hot sesame noodle salad. Did more research on heating solutions for when I'm working at my desk, ordered a Lasko 100 and have a backup plan/project involving Flex Watt Heat Tape. Did research on how to handle my bookmarking after I abandon Delicious, decided to try Pinboard but then decided I wanted to clean up my bookmarks before signing up, so I spent a lot of time doing that. Pinboard seemed to have the most flexibility, transparency (not a lot but more than the alternatives), and third-party support. It costs money, but not a lot.
