Breakfast: one navel orange, one fuji apple. Rode Muni to UCSF Parnassus. Mary Anne's computer: began Time Machine encrypted backup. UCSF shuttle from Parnassus to Laurel Heights. Followup with Megan about the computer wall mount installation. Sent Susie, Eric, and Paula feedback and links about our idea to use accordions in the UFD. Comm team meeting. Brand meeting with Susie and Julie H. Edtech followup: iPad links. Followup with Sydney about the six-hour training requirement for content editors. Updated the BTS orgchart. Followup with a student question about the cyber security training. Followup with Michael and Mary Anne about her laptop. Asana task followup. No lunch. UCSF shuttle from Laurel Heights to Parnassus. Mary Anne's computer: backup completed but still need to wait for the drive encryption to finish. It's at 96%. Visited the OSACA. Handled a request from Sue to add a delegate to the dean's account. Chatted with Sue for about 30 minutes on the phone about the UFD process and mailing lists. Back to the Administration office. Mary Anne's computer: encryption completed. Shutdown and secured it. Rode Muni home. Dinner at home with Patrick: linguine with shrimp scampi, bread from frozen with butter. Dessert: dark chocolate gelato with single malt whiskey gelato, Pepperidge Farm knockoff cookies from Trader Joe's. I vanilla-frosted a chocolate bundt cake that Patrick had baked earlier today. Caught up on reading WDRL. Folded laundry that Patrick had washed earlier today.
