Rode Muni to UCSF Parnassus. Sprint standup by telephone. Lots of computer maintenance all day: PGP to DDPE transition, Office 2013 to Office 2016 upgrades, Java upgrades, Chrome upgrades, SEP upgrades, and more. Dean's Office New Year Luncheon at the Faculty/Alumni House: chinese food: noodle salad, beef with broccoli, chicken with cashews, another entree that I have forgotten, coconut shrimp, pork buns, spinach wrapper dumplings, ha gow, shau mai, steamed white rice, fresh fruit, fortune cookies, assorted sweets. Dean BJG said a few nice words, and we also chatted about Dr. Frank H. Rode Muni home. Dinner at home with Patrick: shrimp green curry over steamed white rice, red wine, water. We cleaned the sweets drawer. Continued editing a new novel by Patrick: chapter 14, pass 1. Late snack: two leftover enchiladas.
