Breakfast at home: egg, rosemary ham, and cheddar on english muffin; Caffe du Monde coffee via french press with whole milk. Continued editing a new novel by Patrick: chapter 13, pass 2. Spent several hours trying to resolve a problem in which I was unable to find the original resolution of a panorama I had edited in Google Snapseed. Apple Image Capture shows the original image with the original dimensions, but when I open this image in Snapseed, it says it has smaller dimensions. Snapseed help and searching the web failed to provide a resolution that worked for me. After trying twice several hours apart, I gave up trying to resolve the problem. Before this, my Snapseed experience had been pretty good. The interface is a little cumbersome in some areas, but on the whole I was happy and impressed. Now I won't use Snapseed again. Dinner from Sprig: Chicken Pot Pie with Quinoa Pilaf ($13), South Carolina Pulled Pork with Black Eyed Peas ($12), Chocolate Chip Cookie ($3.25). Delivery by Frank in just under 30 minutes, which was the estimated time at order. My feedback to Sprig: "Hi, Billy, thank you for the $15 credit and the extra incentive to try Sprig. Our first order tonight with Spring was excellent. Driver Frank arrived on time, was notably polite, and repeated the order exactly. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared, and notably the food colors more vibrant than our Spoonrocket orders. The complimentary coconut truffle was divine and a memorable surprise. The only thing I can suggest for improvement is a minor one: in the followup email receipt the fonts are way too small (screenshots attached). Thanks again, please share my feedback with your team, and we’ll be happy to order again at our next need." Watched part of The Producers (2005) on Netflix DVD with Patrick. I recall seeing the Mel Brooks version of The Producers twice before. The first time I thought it was very funny. The second time I saw it years later I thought it was terrible. This show is hilarious, and I understand now why it was a runaway Broadway hit. Patrick made apricot sufganiyot today, so we ate a few of the small donuts in the evening.
