Breakfast at home: egg and cheddar on english muffin. Rode Muni to UCSF Parnassus. UCSF shuttle from Parnassus to Laurel Heights. Sprint standup. Followup on a student issue. Photo update on the web for VC. Lots of email followup: tech reqs and security vulnerabilities, BigFix to push updates to staff computers, Burchard in Spanish review, redirects for Roy Lab and Smart Diaphragm, new keyboards for several in the OSACA, correcting Danielle's and Marisa's directory entries. Encountered a problem with Apple Mail failing to move items to the trash. I turned the account off then on again as suggested by a post in a support forum, and suddenly I had over 400 messages in my inbox. I spent the next two hours weeding messages in order to find the 20 message threads originally in my inbox. No lunch. UCSF shuttle from Laurel Heights to Parnassus. Rode Muni home. Dinner at home with Patrick: delivery from SpoonRocket. Our second SpoonRocket order arrived in about 10 minutes. Patrick ordered Thai red curry chicken with coconut milk, red chilies, Thai basil, garlic, peas, carrots, steamed rice, and broccoli. [contains coconut milk, dairy, shrimp paste, fish sauce (~450 cal)] for $7.50. I ordered rigatoni with roasted tomato cream sauce [nuts, vegetarian; rigatoni with roasted tomato cream sauce, basil, kale, toasted walnuts, sweet corn, mushrooms, and parmesan. (~650 cal)] for $7.95. Same as before, warm but not hot, microwave for a minute or so, both meals surprisingly delicious and surprisingly high quality for crazy-fast delivery. Cocktail: hot milk with pumpkin pie spice and frangelico. Continued editing a new novel by Patrick. Late snack: mini spring rolls from frozen with dipping sauce, water.
