Forwarded a question about security support for ChromeOS from an entering student to Pat P. Office party in the OSACA. Joel was full of puns ("Where's my wine?" asked Lisa) and we talked about Bay Area amusement parks; Disneyland; Celebration, Florida; theatre; and more. Researched a replacement for our fax machine, decided on the HP OfficeJet Pro 8620 after feedback from the team. UCSF shuttle from Parnassus to Laurel Heights. Purchased the HP OfficeJet Pro 8620. Microsite work: PKCourse edits with Bob U. Jazzee work: lots of followup on the forthcoming residencies golive. No lunch. UCSF shuttle from Laurel Heights to Parnassus. Rode Lyft Line hotspot to the Castro. Walked to The Cafe for Out in Tech, a social for LGBT persons working in technology fields. I encountered many I knew and met many I didn't. It seemed as though everyone wore an Apple Watch except me. The event had sold out and was very successful. The event organizers spent a few minutes introducing themselves, but it was otherwise mingle on your own. Afterwards Emery, Andy, Scott, and I walked to Marcello's, picked up a lot of pizza, and ate at Scott and Andy's place. Rode Muni home.
