Susie picked me up and we drove to Mission Bay to present a history event and reception for the School of Pharmacy. We had been preparing for this event for months. I ran the laptop with the slides I had created. All went well. I had a Peasant Pie beforehand and one in the short break before doors opened. Susie drove me home. Watered the garden. Dinner at home with Patrick: mostly-vegetarian jambalaya, red wine. Finished watching The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies on Netflix DVD with Patrick. Patrick went to bed. I played the first two chapters of The Room on my iPad. Late meal: leftover jambalaya, steak fries. Searched the web for a long time trying to find a candy from my childhood. Failed. Web work late: history microsites post-launch tasks (notably Google Analytics).
