Breakfast at home: oatmeal with raisins, cinnamon, soy milk. Rode Muni to UCSF Parnassus. UCSF shuttle from Parnassus to Laurel Heights. Sprint standup in my office. Followup with Susan H about how to print thumbnails in The Archive (Resource Space). Webform work for Joel and Rick: waitlist and offer. Susie drove us to Mission Bay. Quick lunch by myself at Peasant Pies: one egg, veggie, and cheese pie; one mushroom and zucchini pie, water. Web kickoff meeting with Matt J, O.J., Marja, Lisa C, and one or two more whose names I cannot recall. Susie drove us to Laurel Heights. Followup with a student following a legal name change. Wang lab site build. Midafternoon meal: leftovers from Beautifull! Asana task followup. Listserv management. Rode Lyft Line to the Financial District. A birthday dinner at Alfred's Steakhouse with Danny, Drew, Phil, Romy, Quyen, Dave, Richard, Paul. The food was very good, although several at the table agreed better steaks were available in San Francisco. The service was well-meaning but occasionally errant. (Drew's bread plate was taken before he was done with it.) I had a five-ounce filet medium with vegetables. Champagne to start. Drew brought two bottles of red wine. Dessert at The House on Shotwell Street: Quyen baked a perfect three-layer chocolate cake with raspberry mousse. Rode Lyft Line home. To bed late.
