Kaiser medicine pickup. The wait at the pharmacy is always so long. Today it was 30 minutes. Breakfast to go at Coco Cafe: egg and cheese on plain bagel, small chai latte. Ate on a bench in the Kaiser French Campus courtyard. Medicine training. Drove to Golden Gate Park and did a long photowalk: Pioneer Log Cabin, Stow Lake, Chinese Pavilion, Spreckels Lake, Bison Paddock, Angler's Lodge, Fly Casting Pools. Lunch by myself at Outerlands: pastrami, cabbage, and gruyere sandwich on absurdly thick bread ($14), absurdly small ginger beer ($3 for 6.8 ounces—ugh!), water, about $23 after tax and tip. Drove home. House chores. Archived medical paperwork. Reviewed photos. Dinner at home with Patrick: Patrick prepared a variation of Food Network's grilled chicken with dijon and meyer lemon and served it with stir-fried kale and mixed greens and a biscuit (from a can) with coconut spread. Dessert: one small chocolate each. Finished watching Moonrise Kingdom on Netflix DVD with Patrick. Watched 46 minutes of A View to a Kill on Netflix instant watch with Patrick. Edited and uploaded photos to Flickr. Late snack: shrimp-flavored Top Ramen with sliced mushrooms and green onions.
