Weight training: dumbbell row, dumbbell curl. Breakfast at home: oatmeal with diced cripps pink apple, cinnamon, unsweetened soy milk. Rode Muni to work. Linkchecking, kiosk work. Chatted briefly with Eric. Skipped the website core admins meeting due to supp app cleanup. 1-on-1 conf call with Michael. Supp app cleanup: had a difficult time resolving some errors but got it done after getting stuck a few times. I emailed Kevin K for help with FillPDF but ended up resolving things on my own. In case it helps others, the error "ERROR -32700: Parse error. Request not well formed." might be caused by special characters in the data. For example, in our case, I suspect that input sources for non-English languages caused certain characters to be included in the data that messes up the xmlrpc call. The resolution is to identify and remove these characters. In a different problem, I received an "access denied" error when attempting to generate a PDF. Only one node was inaccessible, and I identified it by copying the URL to generate the PDF, isolating the node numbers, then generating urls to view each node. I opened each node URL until I found the one that gave an "access denied" error. As admin I deleted this node and ensured that the data in that node was still present following the deletion. Quick lunch at the cafeteria: eggplant stir-fry with steamed white rice (they were out of brown rice). CLS data cleaning conf call with Nancy and Susie. Followup with John K and C3 about account creation for Brad E. Followup with Rodney and student AC about the Web Print feature in PaperCut. Followup with Lisa S and Susie about cleaning up references on the web to Mary Anne as dean. Confirmed that the credentials C3 issued me to our dev site are working, changed my password. Rode Muni to Embarcadero Center 1. Chatted with JCB along the way. Met Patrick at Fuzio for dinner: crab cakes to share, prawn pomodoro and iced tea for Patrick, tuna melt with seasoned matchstick fries and english breakfast tea for me. Landmark Theatres: The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Liked it. Logan Lerman is excellent. Rode Muni home. Did a little UCSF work on unit goals. Asked Erik W why there are no Apple desktops in the JACS configurations. Caught up on journaling. Web work for Recharge Spa: made table lines black and thicker on the new patient forms. Added adhesive padding to my Carolina boots to make them more comfortable to wear. Weight training: front raise. Late meal: veggie burger and matchstick fries, water.
