Weight training: door pull ups. Breakfast at home: Bob's Red Mill oat bran with fresh, diced organic pink lady apple, cinnamon, California sage honey. Followup with the IT Service Desk about my suggestion: send 1 resolution email instead of 2. Rode my bike to work. Today Joel shared with us mini bundt cakes. Management activities. Linkchecking, Flickr work, kiosk work. Spent most of the day working on the strategy document. Listserv management. Joel and Sammie helped me build personas for the strategy document. Lunch by myself at Loving Hut. Today was the first time I had their lunch special. As I suspected, the food is not as hot as it should be. Stopped at Beanery for coffee. Chatted with Leslie K on the walk back to the office. Said hello to Matt S. Chatted with Tran about a weird problem I had with PowerPoint 2010 for Windows: it would redraw repeatedly even when opened with no document. We changed my resolution to a different resolution—the problem disappeared. We changed it back—still no problem. Neither of us could understand it. Rode my bike home, stopping on the way at Everybody Bikes for some free air for my rear tire. They have a stand-up pump accessible behind their gate that anyone can use 24/7, and it accommodates both Presta and Schrader valves—so wonderful. Thanks, guys! Dinner at home with Patrick: organic mac and cheese with non-organic tuna, green onions, and heirloom tomato; side of sliced, steamed carrots; hot water. 15-minute nap. Picked up Danny at home, we met Lil Paul at Badlands, stayed and talked and danced for a bit. Met or encountered Stephen, Michael, Dave, and Michael. Chatted briefly with Jason P who was working coat check. After dancing a while we took a break outside. When we emerged we found a light rain falling. We returned inside for a bit, then decided to leave. We walked to Trigger, where I met Danny's friend Jorge. Now on Mondays Trigger shows Ru Paul on all their screens and 80s night doesn't start until 11:00 PM—disappointing. (The doorman said sometimes it doesn't start until 11:30 PM.) Met Danny's friend Noah. We left. Paul went home on foot. Danny and I walked back to the car, stopping on the way at a clothing store that was still open late and shopped for a bit. He bought an elegant black and white Trilby for $16. I drove Danny home, then drove home and washed dishes. Late meal: organic o-ring pasta from a can.
