Asked Lucia, Cindy, and Lisa to log out instead of shutting down their computers at the end of the day so that I could do some maintenance. Followup with student AC about how to get computer help. Management activities. Confirmed that Joel's computer doesn't prompt for the PGP passphrase upon cold start, asked Tran how to fix that. Retrieved an essay for Joel and Sammie. Lunch at desk: leftover rainbow orzo pasta salad. Posted an announcement to the kiosk for student JV. Assisted Chris W with his Django installation. Minor web update for Cindy. Tried to help Joel get Windows 7 to work with the new display in S-936 but failed—it simply would not connect no matter what I tried. Chatted briefly with Will; he had forgotten his iPhone today. Chatted with Shirin about a UCLA career counselor named Grace P. Calendar management and more management activities. 1-on-1 with Eric: web redesign scope document. Rode my bike home. Dinner with Will at home: veggie soup with brown rice added, Will helped me cook sweet potato curry which we ate with naan from the freezer. Rode my bike home.
