Breakfast: oatmeal with organic thompson raisins, organic cinnamon, nonfat milk; 12 ounces of generic V8. To work. Facelift project work: added and styled announcements. Continued work on student KL's computer. Lunch: tuna sandwich from Subway. Dinner at Kingdom of Dumpling with Patrick: vegetable dumplings for Patrick, shrimp dumplings for me, onion pancake for both of us. Ran in to graduate Carolyn and her husband Eugene who were just finishing their meal there, said hello. Made hotel reservations for our New Orleans trip. Unloaded photos from the camera. Partitioned and verified the new replacement hard drive for our music. Attempted to begin a CrashPlan local restore, but was stymied by messages "unable to restore until we have synchronized with the destination" and "synchronizing block information" which prevented me from restoring data—annoying. The block synchonization seems to be taking a long time—currently at 18%. Will check again tomorrow. Answered this question on Formspring: Question: If you had to perform at the circus, what trick would you do? Answer: I'm really flexible, so I would probably be a contortionist. (I thought Formspring was recently dead—none of their pages would load for the past few days—but it works again today.)
