Oatmeal. Rented tables and chairs at Michael S. Hensley Party Rental and Sales Company (650-583-0337, 209 Utah Avenue, South San Francisco) where everyone was very helpful. We rented 10 white padded wooden chairs, four 24-inch round low pedestal tables, 3 chafing dishes, and 6 sternos: $122.49. Lunch: Xiao Loong, I had broccoli beef, Patrick had Xiao Loong chicken, a pot of Jasmine tea: $21. Patrick's fortune: A beautiful woman is a blessing to the soul; A paradise to the eyes and a curse to the purse. My fortune: Butterflies of sudden delight rest upon you tonight. Picked up a few more groceries at Safeway. Printed and laminated labels describing the dishes Patrick is cooking. Dinner with Joe M at the Thai restaurant next to The Cafe.
